What we collect

When you create an account we store your email address, display name and a hashed password. When you record a drive or post a condition report we store the GPS route, your notes and any photos you attach. We do not sell your data.

How we use it

Your account data is used to authenticate you and attribute your contributions. Your trail recordings and reports are published under your display name to help other drivers. Your GPS data is stored on Cloudflare R2 and not shared with third parties.

Location

The app requests location permission only while it is open (foreground). We use your location to show nearby trails and to record your drive. We do not track your location in the background in this version.

Cookies and sessions

We use a single secure session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking.

POPIA

This service is operated from South Africa. We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the app or by emailing us.
